This year’s annual spring used book sale is fast approaching.

May 1st (Thursday) to May 5th (Sunday)
10:00am to 4:45pm (final day only until 4:00pm)
Venue: Miyako Messe, Okazaki, Kyoto

22 second-hand bookstores from Kyoto, Nara, and Mie are participating
Hundreds of thousands of items will be on display, including specialized books, art, literature, history, picture books, books from the Edo period, woodblock prints, posters, pamphlets, postcards, maps, Buddhist books, Western books, manga, anime, and subculture.

There is also a Kyoto section that collects only books and materials related to Kyoto.
